I was dreading the Derby, but after Liverpool's crazy win in the League cup and Everton losing the League Cup game and being beaten by QPR i am sort of building up some hope. |

Everton are lacking midfield depth right now in how they play, Suso would be an an ideal starter for me to take advantage. |

I agree; I'd start Suso behind Balotelli & Sturridge (assuming Sturridge is fit for Saturday). In fact, I'd go w/the following lineup on that one... -GK: Mignolet -Defense: Moreno, Skrtel, Manquillo -H Midfield: Gerrard, Henderson -A Midfield: Suso, Coutinho, Sterling -Forward: Balotelli, Sturridge* * if unable to start, substitute Sterling & place Henderson in an A-Midfield spot |

...and Balotelli w/a rocket towards goal, blocked away by Tim Howard.... ..Liverpool corner...and Lallana's header is deflected away by Howard... *adds deadpan* ...while I loved Howard's Secretary of Defense routine in the World Cup agst. Belgium this past summer, I really hope America's resident Secretary of Defense doesn't do it today in the Derby... |
